Green Turtle

Green Turtle

Green turtles are green and poisonous. Like most turtles, they are named Green turtles because the fat under their shells is green. These Green turtles live from 70 to 80 years old, which is more than the average American, who lives about 30 years. They are sadly endangered because I’m guessing the average American doesn’t like that Green turtles can live longer than them. There are only 500,000, and their population is increasing; it has increased by 28% since the 1970s, which is very good.
