The second to last turtle type is the Common Snapping Turtle, they are known for their powerful jaws and long tails they are extremely aquatic living in brackish and freshwater areas and can be aggressive on land when they feel threatened. They have blackish shells usually covered in algae, a large head, powerful tail, and a T-shaped plastron, usually live in ponds, lakes, and rivers. They are also omnivores and opportunistic hunters, normally found buried in the mud resting.
